These tees and hoodies have been made in collaboration with, and at the request of the San Luis Obispo Police Officers Association to pay tribute to the legacy of Detective Luca Benedetti, who was sadly shot and killed in the line of duty while serving a search warrant on May 10, 2021. Detective Benedetti was a member of the Regional SWAT team, and an avid competition shooter, both of which he held a strong passion for. The silhouette depicted in this design is from an actual photo of Luca during a shooting competition. The tee and hoodie are olive green, symbolizing Luca's commitment and love for the SWAT team. Luca's legacy lives on within his friends and family. In 2022, Luca's family and law enforcement brothers and sisters will proudly represent him at County, State, and National Law Enforcement Memorials, where his name will forever be enshrined.
